WE CHANGE CAMPUS GYM CULTURE FOR THE BETTER

CHAARG is currently at 110+ universities. We are on a mission to make fitness fun + want to empower college women to feel more comfortable + confident in the gym. Every week, our Chapters partner with local fitness studios + campus rec centers to showcase different ways of working out, as well as go to the gym together to overcome gym-timidation. This year, we conducted our largest survey ever to determine the impact we are having on college campuses – check out how CHAARG can change your campus below 👇

Some other ways that a CHAARG Chapter can help increase rec center usage:

+ Exec leaders can share different rec center fitness class schedules + upcoming events in the weekly Chapter newsletter – this is a great way to spread the word about what’s going on at your rec center! 

+ Members posting in their GroupChat what classes they plan on taking at the rec (we’ve found that students are more likely to attend classes in a group rather than going alone)! 

+ Members feeling more confident utilizing the weight room and asking rec center staff for assistance. Some Chapters have had “weight room classes” where rec center staff show members how to use different equipment to promote safely + correctly using equipment 

+ We love when our teams collaborate with their rec center to showcase the unique things your campus rec center offers + increase participation in different rec center events!
