CHAARG IS THE LARGEST WELLNESS CLUB ON 100+ COLLEGE CAMPUSES
We want to show you that working out can [+ should!] be fun 🩵

IT ALL STARTED AT THE GYM
CHAARG [Changing Health Attitudes + Actions to Recreate Girls] was started in 2012 at The Ohio State University by Elisabeth Tavierne. Elisabeth hung up her collegiate swimming towel + noticed a clear divide in the campus rec center between the weight room + cardio machines… she also saw that many women looked bored + uncomfortable in the gym! She set off on a mission to help other women find out how fun working out can be.
Sarah Clem heard about CHAARG while she was a sophomore in college. As an avid runner, she was someone that didn’t venture into the weight room often + longed to change up her workouts. She instantly knew CHAARG was what her campus was missing + quickly reached out to Elisabeth about starting a Chapter.
The idea behind CHAARG is simple: a group of students on campus that try new workouts together every week. We believe that working out can [+ should!] be fun ++ we know that working out is a lot better with friends! CHAARG Chapters quickly turned into groups that do a lot more than workout together – socials, formals, + retreats have created true communities on campus that lead to lifelong friendships.
Since starting in 2012, CHAARG has exploded as the largest health + wellness movement on college campuses. We are currently present at 100+ campuses + have impacted over 80,000+ members since 2012.
