We Asked 24 Girls “What does it mean to be “#inCHAARG?” Here’s what they said…

Ah — I love everything about this community! You guys freaking rock ++ I’d be lying if I said I didn’t happy cry while scrolling through the #CHAARGBOOTYCAMP hashtags this week. I can’t believe how fast this FitPlan is flyin’ by. It’s been 5 unbelievable weeks — each filled with one thousand girls sweating, inspiring, + empowering each other. 5 weeks of encouraging each other to believe that we are strong, beautiful, ++ that we can achieve anything we set our minds to. We only have one week left of the CHAARG BOOTYCAMP, but our journey won’t stop when the FitPlan ends.

Whether you’ve just began your journey days, months, or even years ago — this is just the beginning. Becoming healthier + happier is a journey that continues throughout your lifetime. ++ I am incredibly grateful to be a part of this amazing community that is committed to supporting each other in discovering what it means to be #inCHAARG of our own unique life. For each of us, the journey is a little different — but together, we make this community what it is!

#1] Being #inCHAARG means more to me than words can describe. CHAARG is a lifeline +it’s hope. It reminds me that I am strong + capable of anything I put my mind to. CHAARG is more than just a group of young women who enjoy exercising. We are a community linked by the drive to live a healthier lifestyle, by mutual encouragement + support, + by a passion that can only be experienced to fully understand. //[melkru_inchaarg]

#2] I’m ok with missing a few workout, as crazy as that sounds. I’ll make them up later, but I’m not going to miss out on my life because I feel like I have to get to the gym! Life is too damn short to waste it feeling guilty/ hating your body. I think I’m really starting to figure out what this whole #inCHAARG thing is really about. Thank you! // [nicolette_inchaarg]

#3] Before CHAARG, I would have just done what I could do, but being #inCHAARG challenges just that. It makes me dig deeper // pushes myself outside my comfort zone // helps me discover better parts of myself. It means *trying* new things // gaining confidence ++ inspiring others to do the same. // [thebusybee_]

#4]  Being #inCHAARG means being judge-free, care-free, and excuse-free. It means understanding that every girl is on her own journey, and that absolutely no one is perfect!! Being #inCHAARG means supporting your girls each + every day, cheering every girl on in her triumphs, ++ having her back when she has trouble. The perfect body is impossible to achieve, but that shouldn’t stop you from trying to reach the best you that you can be! // [madisont_inchaarg]

BEING #INCHAARG MEANS SUPPORTING YOUR GIRLS EACH + EVERY DAY, CHEERING EVERY GIRL ON IN HER TRIUMPHS  + HAVING HER BACK WHEN SHE HAS TROUBLE

#5] Being #inCHAARG means trying to be the best that you can be. It means pushing yourself. It means challenging yourself mentally and physically. It means not letting a scale determine your self worth. It means building up other girls and being built up by other girls. It means feeling your best both physically and mentally. It means watching your body change and watching yourself grow. // [chaichey17]

#6]  Since I joined virtCHAARG in January I have figured out that being #inCHAARG is about living a happy ++ heathy life — whatever that means to yourself. To me it’s a journey of becoming the best version of myself. To beating depression + anxiety. To proving to myself that I am worth the hard work. To live my life for me + only me. Stop doing what others want you to do. Have faith in what you’re capable of doing. To challenge myself mentally + physically. To learning to love myself. To stop picking a part my body. To encourage//motivate//inspire other girls on their journey. To making connections with girls who are on the same yet so different journey. To know that no matter what situation you’re in, you have 2500+ girls having your back. // [robyn__inchaarg]

TO ME, BEING #INCHAARG IS A JOURNEY OF BECOMING THE BEST VERSION OF MYSELF, BEATING DEPRESSION + ANXIETY, + PROVING TO MYSELF THAT I AM WORTH THE HARD WORK. BEING #INCHAARG MEANS TO LIVE MY LIFE FOR ME + ONLY ME.

#7] Being #inCHAARG is much more than finding your fit + becoming healthier. It’s about finding your inner strength + discovering your true self. It’s accepting your flaws ++ realizing that you can do anything you put your mind to. It’s belonging to something bigger than yourself + inspiring other women ++ spreading positivity everywhere. // [emilyg_inchaarg]

#8]  CHAARG has provided me with the friendships, encouragement, love + motivation that I had been yearning for for a very long time. I’m #inCHAARG physically, regularly exercising [I love CHAARGBOOTYCAMP] + eating healthier [i never would have known what the whole 30 was if it wasn’t for virtCHAARG — second best decision I’ve made next to joining CHAARG]. I’m slowly seeing improvements + am constantly reminding myself these changes don’t necessarily happen over night + to not give up because it takes time. I have opened myself up + been able to share myself with a welcoming, forgiving, + loving community. // [klb_inchaarg]

#9] But to me #inCHAARG means being able to achieve something that you thought you couldn’t. Being able to reach a goal and set a new one. Knowing that you’re stronger then what you thought before. And most importantly to me it means being able to be PROUD of yourself at the end of the day. It doesn’t matter if you only ran 1 mile or 1/2 a marathon. Feel proud because you did something good for yourself. // [anacecilia_inchaarg ]

BEING #INCHAARG MEANS KNOWING THAT YOU’RE STRONGER THEN WHAT YOU THOUGHT BEFORE + MOST IMPORTANTLY — TO ME, IT MEANS BEING ABLE TO BE PROUD OF YOURSELF AT THE END OF THE DAY. IT DOESN’T MATTER IF YOU ONLY RAN 1 MILE OR 1/2 A MARATHON. FEEL PROUD BECAUSE YOU DID SOMETHING GOOD FOR YOURSELF.

#10] Being #inCHAARG isn’t just about being a great individual, it is about being a part of something greater than yourself. Being #inCHAARG also means to inspire others through endless support + positivity [CHAARG girls are always cheering each other on!]. Being #inCHAARG is more than just a simple definition you can put into words. It is the feeling of pride + love + sense of home this incredible community has given me. You guys are amazing. // [jackie_inchaarg]

#11] Being #inCHAARG has helped me learn the value of appreciating each moment in the present instead of focusing on what’s to come. Whether it’s spending my free time with people I care about or going for a run + enjoying the world around me, I believe each day should be celebrated. Life is too short to passively wait for the next thing exciting thing to com, and this community constantly reminds me that life is better spent when we live passionately + spend each day truly making the most of our time doing the things we love with the people who make us happiest.  // [ali.inchaarg]

#12] Being #inCHAARG means taking control of your health and your life. It means loving yourself but also loving others. Being #inCHAARG means that you are the one in the drivers seat your life, your happiness and all you do. // [bjones_inchaarg]

#13] What does being #inCHAARG mean to me? Not being afraid to flex [+ show my baby biceps!] + show the world what I’m made of! #CHAARGBOOTYCAMP has shown me that I still got it — even after a year of giving up on myself + feeling worthless. I used to look in the mirror + see a stranger — someone who wasn’t who I used to be. I was unhappy + lost balance in my life. I was binging on Netflix in bed + eating junk when I could have gone out for a run + ate fruits + greens. Then once this fit plan started — I was once again #inCHAARG + literally IN CHARGE of my life once again. // [malorys_inchaarg]

#14] A year ago, I couldn’t run a mile + today I ran in preparation for 13.1. For me, being #inCHAARG means breaking barriers. It means surrounding myself with women who lift me up + bring me closer to the best, happiest version of myself. It is radiating positive vibes, strutting into the weight room, and knowing that sweat is sexy! It is digging deeper, fighting harder, lasting longer, and pushing further than I ever thought I possibly could [+ loving every single second of it!]. It is ultimately finding myself among the sweat, tears, laughs + friendships that this AMAZING community brings. // [sarag_inchaarg]

#15] To me, Being #inCHAARG is to love yourself, even your “imperfections.” Every little piece makes up a beautiful YOU. To stand up for yourself + what is right + for those who can’t. To love others completely + wholely, without expecting something in return. To experience true joy, and to celebrate with them when they smash their goal, and not feel inadequate or jealous, because you know that you are enough. // [kate.inchaarg]

TO ME, BEING #INCHAARG IS TO LOVE YOURSELF, EVEN YOUR “IMPERFECTIONS.” EVERY LITTLE PIECE MAKES UP A BEAUTIFUL YOU. TO STAND UP FOR YOURSELF + WHAT IS RIGHT + FOR THOSE WHO CAN’T. TO LOVE OTHERS COMPLETELY + WHOLELY, WITHOUT EXPECTING SOMETHING IN RETURN.

#16]  Being truly #inCHAARG means doing what I want and achieving all the health and fitness goals that my mind, body, spirit and heart so desperately desire. It means looking in the mirror every day and deciding to LOVE what I see. Being #inCHAARG is the greatest self love I have ever shown myself. I am a happier, healthier person thanks to this program.  // [lexisjoan_inchaarg]

#17] To me, being #inCHAARG means you’re owning your life regardless of circumstance. It means you’re the kind of woman who wants to see a change in herself + the world around her. When life gives you lemons, you pray that they are Lulu + when another CHAARG girl is down, instead of kicking her you go kickboxing together, because that’s the kind of community this is. // [sammi_inchaarg]

#18] I believe being #inCHAARG means being yourself and sticking to YOUR plan, YOUR goals, and YOUR dreams. It took me a long time to admit that I was not living for myself but for others which meant I was not my best self. I joined a 6am crew during the fitplan and became so motivated and less anxious. I felt strong and confident and was happy being me. // [dzeid_inchaarg]

#19] When I found Chaarg, I realized that there were a lot of girls in my same position. Being #inCHAARG opened my eyes to the reality that everyone sees flaws in themselves. With Chaarg, I’m surrounded by women of all different fitness backgrounds, all different sizes, but with one common goal: to be the best version of ourselves. The positivity and energy with this group is incredible. // [hann_inchaarg]

#20]  I think being #inCHAARG is about action. it’s about COMPLETING the great workouts; CHAARG up, sweat sesh, burn out, + maybe even a few extra miles. it’s about following the helpful hints about health + implementing them into daily life. it’s about reaching out to the bloggers + all fellow chaarg girls + embracing them + their stories. but most of all, it’s about living a life that is controlled by you alone, and measured only by your immense beauty, confidence, + strength. // [juliaa.inchaarg]

BUT MOST OF ALL, BEING #INCHAARG IT’S ABOUT LIVING A LIFE THAT IS CONTROLLED BY YOU ALONE, + MEASURED ONLY BY YOUR IMMENSE BEAUTY, CONFIDENCE, + STRENGTH.

#21] Being #inCHAARG means being brave enough to make choices and do what’s best for yourself- in school, about fitness, in life in general- and not care how those choices are received by people who don’t understand what you’re doing. It is being brave enough to recognize that you are ENOUGH just how you are right now. // [alison_inchaarg]

BEING #INCHAARG MEANS BEING BRAVE ENOUGH TO MAKE CHOICES AND DO WHAT’S BEST FOR YOURSELF- IN SCHOOL, ABOUT FITNESS, IN LIFE IN GENERAL + NOT CARING HOW THOSE CHOICES ARE RECEIVED BY PEOPLE WHO DON’T UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU’RE DOING. IT IS BEING BRAVE ENOUGH TO RECOGNIZE THAT YOU ARE ENOUGH JUST HOW YOU ARE RIGHT NOW.

#22] What does it mean to be #inCHAARG? CHAARG is a never ending support system of strong women, which I didn’t even know I needed until I had it. In a world where society tends to put women down its a beautiful thing to have beautiful, inspiring, and empowering women lift you up. But through CHAARG I now realize what it truly means to love yourself. Being #inCHAARG has changed my life. // [tritt_inchaarg]

#23] CHAARG is so much more than just a fitness program to me, it has helped me become more at peace with myself + happier with who I am. The girls #inCHAARG are the most supportive group of people I have ever been a part of + I am so thankful for everything this program has allowed for me. // [alixx_inchaarg]

#24] Being #inCHAARG means finding a passion and drive in yourself you never knew existed. It means choosing to go the extra mile in both your workouts and in everyday situations. It means feeling content and confident in your own skin. It means YOU are in charge of your own life and happiness! //[katiehan_inchaarg]
