UNIVERSITY OF MASSACHUSETTS CHAARG DETAILS
Meet the Ambassador
My name is Taylor Beane + I am the CHAARG Ambassador for the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I am a senior double majoring in Nutrition + Kinesiology. I first found my love for CHAARG + fitness my freshman year of college after having a lonely + homesick first semester. In high school, I was involved in sports but did not continue them in college. I soon discovered fitness + became involved in CHAARG. *Everything changed*. I currently teach Group Fitness + am a Nutrition Advisor at UMass. My passion for fitness spreads far + I love to share it with everyone. I truly believe that college is a time to try new things + step out of our comfort zone. I do not think there is a better time//place to do this than as a member of UMass CHAARG. In our chapter, you will find a positive + welcoming environment to try new workouts [Crossfit, hula hoop classes, *baby goat yoga classes*] + make friends! Come check us out + join our Chapter to “find your fit” ++ more importantly, find yourself!

Here’s what #UMASSCHAARG girls are saying…
Why did you join CHAARG?
I joined CHAARG so I could find my place on campus my freshman year. I wanted to put myself out there + make new friends, ++ I also wanted to get more invested in my own physical and emotional wellness, + when I found CHAARG I thought it was the perfect solution! // Madison [msherman_inchaarg]
Why should someone join CHAARG?
To meet a great group of girls who are extremely supportive + push you to better yourself! ++ to stay healthy + in shape while having fun of course! // Nicole [Nwhelpley_inchaarg]
What do you want to share about CHAARG?
CHAARG gave me a family on campus. Before CHAARG I felt so lost on such a large campus, + it helped me find who I am as an individual ++ has helped me grow. // Lauren [umass_inchaarg]
