Pumpkin Spice Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

Pumpkin spice meets dark chocolate!? — this recipe is *all thangs fall [+ amazing]*. ; )

With Halloween right around the corner, no doubt there’ll be plenty of opportunities to #TreatYourself — but instead of diving headfirst into the chocolate [+ into a sugar overload], we’ve created a healthier alternative for ya! In case pumpkin spice + dark chocolate wasn’t enough, this cookie dough recipe also features protein — meaning you’re less likely to overindulge ++ it’ll be easier to stick to your #FitGoals. You can thank us later. ; )

INGREDIENTS

*makes 3 servings

1 scoop of Pumpkin Spice Protein [We <3 About Time]

1/2 cup Pumpkin Puree

1/2 cup Almond//Coconut//or Oat Flour [you can DIY oat flour by blending oats into a powder!]

2 tbsp Vanilla Almond Butter

1/2 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice

1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

1 tbsp Almond Milk

1/4 cup mini Dark Chocolate Chips

*1 tbsp Maple Syrup or Honey [optional]

DIRECTIONS

#1] Combine all ingredients, except for the chocolate chips, in a medium sized bowl + stir. [pro tip: if your nut butter has a thick consistency, microwaving it for 30 sec will help thin it out + make mixing easier]

#2] Once the wet + dry ingredients are combined, add in your toppings + stir until fully combined.

#3] Place the cookie dough in the fridge or freezer to allow it to chill + firm. Once the dough is more firm — call over your CHAARG girls + enjoy by the spoonful! ; )
