Grilled berries? YEP. This berry medley is so good + you can make this over the stove if you do not have access to a grill [but grillin’ is much more fun anyways ; )]. Since the berries are small, you can’t grill them directly because they would fall straight through! Instead, you are going to want to cook them in a baking pan [like a bread mold], so that you can heat them over the fire. There are so many things you can do with this medley [which I love!]: pour it over ice cream, froyo, greek yogurt [which is what I decided to do ; ) ], or even a slice of angel food cake for a delicious dessert.
1 cup fresh Berry Medley [Strawberries, Blueberries, Blackberries + Raspberries]
1 cup plain Greek Yogurt [I used Fage]
½ Lemon [juiced]
1 tbsp Honey
1 tsp Cinnamon
1] In a grill safe pan [I used a bread mold] combine the berries, drizzle with honey, squeeze in the lemon juice + sprinkle on the cinnamon. Mix well to ensure all the berries are evenly coated.
3] Once it starts to get a *pie filling* type consistency + the berries are tender — they are ready to be served! Pour the berry mixture over 1 cup Greek Yogurt + enjoy!
