// THE MOMENT //
The moment you knew you wanted to start a CHAARG chapter at your university… My friend is a member of the UMD CHAARG chapter + after she told me about it [++ I stalked their blog//insta//facebook for hours on end] I was hooked ++ became a virtual member the same night! After being a virtual member for a semester + feeling so inspired ++ supported by my VirtCHAARG girls I knew I had to bring all of the #postivevibes alive on UGA’s campus + honestly still can’t believe they chose to expand here this year! [eek!]
My passion for health + fitness was ignited when… I was always active in high school + came into college confident the freshman 15 wouldn’t happen to me — but it did. And along with the weight I gained I also lost my drive//motivation to workout without teammates constantly holding me accountable like I was used to. Also, after returning from a medical mission trip in Panama where I saw first hand the effects poor healthcare + the unavailability of healthy, wholesome foods can have on a community — I decided my health wasn’t something I was willing to take for granted anymore. So, after putting my health on the backburner during freshman year, I started working out + eating right again that summer ++ finally began to feel like myself again! Pretty recently after falling *back* in love with fitness I found CHAARG + knew a community like this was exactly what i needed!

Favorite Meal… Anything I can spiralize or pair with brussel sprouts!
Favorite Indulgence… Dark chocolate anything!! Or froyo.. Or red velvet cake.. [my sweet tooth kinda controls my life…]

If you could work out with anyone dead or alive, what workout would you do + who would you work out with? Leg day with my girl crush Carrie Underwood ++ whoever her trainer is. #leggoals
A song that gets me pumped to take on a #sweatsesh is… I’m currently super into Panda by Desiigner ++ as much as i hate to admit this…if ‘ Me Too’ by Meghan Trainor comes on during a workout I get really into it — that song is my guilty pleasure for sure.

My passion is… I am passionate about serving others ++ helping people be as healthy as they can be. I dream of being a Physician Assistant + being able to help others become their healthiest + happiest versions of themselves.
I am #inCHAARG because… because I love the holistic approach CHAARG takes to health. I firmly believe being healthy is about so much more than just working out and eating right. Being healthy in all aspects of your life [mentally//socially//spiritually] is so important + I love that CHAARG encourages this ++ promotes so much positivity!
