// THE MOMENT //
The moment you knew you wanted to start a CHAARG chapter at your university… My friend Kelsey Bishop, the Boston College CHAARG Ambassador, first introduced me to CHAARG. She encouraged me to apply to become a CHAARG Ambassador + I knew I wanted to bring a chapter to GWU when I felt the need to inspire other girls on my campus with my motivation + my love for working out, healthy living + my obsession for delicious healthy food. After a freshman year first semester slump, I changed my habits + I realized that there were too many woman who didn’t have the ambition that I had. My goal is to change that + encourage all girls to find their confidence, drive, + self-assurance.
My passion for health + fitness was ignited when… I was born! My mom has been a yoga, pilates, + personal instructor since I was a kid + I have grown up in an environment that has fostered my passion for health + fitness. It wasn’t until I moved to college that I realized that I only live in my body once, + I will only be 20 once. I thought: “I may as well eat as healthy as I can + workout as much as I can because I won’t be in the same shape 30 years from now.” What I do now will ultimately have a positive effect on my future + I can not wait to thank my younger self when I’m 60 years old. ; )

Favorite Meal… I believe my life + schedule actually revolves around food. One of the reasons I workout is because I know that I’m either going to eat a lot of food later in the day or I already have [who can stop themselves?!]. My favorite meal has to be SUSHI. I love a good tuna, avocado, tobiko with soybean paper roll.
Favorite Indulgence… CHEESE! I am a cheesehead! I love all cheeses: mozzarella, gouda, parmesan, irish cheddar, monterey jack, provolone, white american — you name it, I have it in my fridge.

If you could work out with anyone dead or alive, what workout would you do + who would you work out with? A rock-ass cardio + weight sesh with the girl boss Rihanna!
A song that gets me pumped to take on a #sweatsesh is… I go for some hip-hop + rap — nothing motivates me more than the smooth, sexy voice of the musical genius himself, Drake. 6 Man continues to be my go-to pump up.

My passion is… Other than working out/eating +living healthy — I love to design, draw, + create. My creative mind allows me to think out of the box + inspire others.
I am #inCHAARG because… More than anything, CHAARG has motivated me to become more healthy, in-shape, confident, + ultimately — my best self. Because I have gained qualities that have helped me become the strong woman I have always dreamt of becoming, my wish is that CHAARG also invigorates other girls to find themselves + learn how to become happy + rich with life.
