FitGoal: To get a PR in my half marathon this fall + to do 50 push-ups without stopping!

// THE MOMENT //

The moment I knew I wanted to become the next CHAARG Ambassador at my university… Was after we finished the Title Boxing workout last fall. It was a killer workout + everyone was dripping sweat, but we loved it. Emily [the previous University of Dayton Ambassador] did a great job getting everyone together + we all left in a great mood. I knew this was the group I wanted to lead because all of these girls share my passion for fitness + love a good #sweatsesh.

My passion for health + fitness was ignited when… I ran my first half marathon in the spring of my senior year of high school. After running cross country for three years, I started to form a passion for running. I was super disappointed when I missed getting a varsity letter by 13 seconds. I needed a new goal to accomplish. My best friend + I found a training schedule online + started running miles after school. My goal was just to finish the race + not walk too much, so I was really excited when I ran it in 2 hours and 6 minutes. Since then, I have run 6 more half marathons + my personal record is 1:40:31. Running that first half marathon started my passion for running, health + fitness, and I hope to be able to run many more races!

Favorite Meal… Cookout food — burgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob + watermelon!

Favorite Indulgence… Chips + Salsa

If you could work out with anyone dead or alive, what workout would you do + who would you work out with? I would LOVE to work out with Chris and Heidi Powell from Extreme Weight Loss and do one of his outdoor “milestone” challenges.

I am #inCHAARG because… I love the variety of workouts, meeting other girls who share my passion, and learning all kinds of new workout ideas from other members!
