FitGoal: To walk at least 10,000 steps every day!

// THE MOMENT //

 

The moment I knew I wanted to become the next CHAARG Ambassador at my university… the moment I joined CHAARG. It just *clicked* + I knew that CHAARG would be a huge role in shaping my college experience. I knew that I wanted to become a leader + help other girls find their fit + to spread the positivity that CHAARG brought into my life. I haven’t looked back since then + it has been the best decision of my life. These are my people + I have no idea what I would do without them!

My passion for health + fitness was ignited when… I was little. I started swimming competitively when I was 5 years old and since then I have done many different sports [tennis, running, volleyball, gymnastics]. When I got to college, however, I lost the *team* aspect of the sports that I had when I was younger. My passion began to dwindle + I wasn’t feeling like myself. The summer after my freshman year was when it really picked back up. I found out about CHAARG + decided that I was going to *take back* my health + focus on making my happiness a priority again. Once I made that decision, my passion resurfaced + I am a better person for it. I am mentally + physically healthier when I focus on health + fitness. It’s okay to fall off the wagon sometimes, but learning how to get back on is the tough part. CHAARG has been with me through thick + thin + has really helped me ignite my full passion for health + fitness!

Favorite Meal… Pasta with vodka sauce + chicken, a side of broccoli, + lemonade for my drink!

Favorite Indulgence… Chocolate fondue [esp. the dipped strawberries]!

If you could work out with anyone dead or alive, what workout would you do + who would you work out with? Nina Dobrev + we would either scuba dive or do SUP yoga! She was featured in a scuba magazine when I first started diving + was promoting conservation. Ever since then I’ve wanted to meet her + she has inspired me to be a healthier + more environmentally conscious person.

My passion is… traveling. I love learning about new cultures + exploring parts of the world that I have never been to. One of my life goals is to travel to every continent, even Antarctica ; )

I am #inCHAARG because… I work to better myself every day + because I never settle for ordinary.

Fun Fact… I am scuba certified + have gone on 24 dives so far, some in the Galápagos!
