// THE MOMENT //
The moment you knew you wanted to start a CHAARG chapter at your university… was when I saw my friend, a CHAARG girl at Butler, post pictures of Studio Spotlights on Instagram. I asked her about it + the rest is history! Everything that she told me deeply resonated with my passions for fitness + a desire for a community that believes in the same. After exploring more + stalking all of CHAARG’s blog posts + pictures, I knew that I had to bring CHAARG to Marquette. I wanted to inspire other girls to love their bodies for all that they can do + not what society tells them that they should. I wanted a positive community in which I could truly be myself.
My passion for health + fitness was ignited when… I was little. My family is athletic + I definitely caught the bug. I was constantly on sports teams or playing outside. I truly got into fitness during high school through conditioning for + playing volleyball + lacrosse ++ continued my fitness journey outside of team sports in college. I fell in love with trying new workouts + learning my way around the weight room ++ once I, (+ others) saw progress + how strong I could be, I knew there was no turning back!

Favorite Meal… Grilled salmon + piles of grilled peppers, squash, zucchini, mushrooms, + onions
Favorite Indulgence… A hot chocolate chip cookie with ice cream on top 🙂
// SWEAT //
If you could work out with anyone dead or alive, what workout would you do + who would you work out with? If it was ever remotely possible, I would love to do a gymnastics workout with Shawn Johnson. I have always loved gymnastics, + did it myself up until 6th grade, but never competed because I liked trying other sports + just didn’t have the natural ability that you have to have in order to excel. So, if somehow Shawn could give me some of her superpowers so I can flip through the air + not injure myself, that would be the dream!

My passion is… helping others achieve some goal that they could not alone. I am extremely excited about my future career as a physical therapist because I will be able to see the impact that my work will make on their lives whether it is to return them to play to their favorite sport, gaining more range of motion after a surgery, or simply walking better. To be able to be a part of their journey will truly be amazing.
I am #inCHAARG because… I believe in everything that CHAARG stands for + want to help change girls’ lives, whether it is just one great workout, or an amazing lifestyle transformation. I wholeheartedly believe that health + fitness should be something done for *you* + not to conform to society’s thoughts on beauty. We are all beautiful + can all do amazing things. Sometimes, you just need a little confidence + support, which CHAARG definitely provides!

3 words to describe you are… passionate, ambitious, energetic
Fun Fact… I told my parents when I was 4 that I wanted to quit soccer because it made me too sweaty. I just didn’t like the sport + didn’t know how to tell them that when my whole family played it. I am now one of the *sparkliest* sweaters there is!
