Grilled Brown Sugar Chili Pineapple


I’ll never make a burger the same way ever again! The flavor of this recipe is out of this WORLD! It has sweetness from the pineapple + brown sugar ++ a kick from the chili powder — you’re going to want to eat all these at once. Like the berries, this recipe is FULL of possibilities! You can add these to a pizza [maybe even a cauliflower crust pizza?] a burger, or a salad. The next time I make Chicken Sliders — these will definitely be added.


4-5 slices fresh Pineapple

¼ cup Brown Sugar

1 tbsp Agave Nectar

1 tsp Chile Powder



#1] Using a kitchen brush, evenly coat both sides of all the pineapple slices in agave nectar. In a small bowl combine the chili powder + brown sugar and mix well. Sprinkle the brown sugar//chile powder mixture + using the kitchen brush, spread the mixture until all the pineapple are evenly coated.


#2] Place the pineapple slices on the grill, cook for about 5-10 minutes, + then flip. Repeat until the pineapples have a “char-grilled” look to them!
