3 Sweet Face Scrubs For Radiant Skin


TLC may not have wanted no scrubs, but we love ’em — especially in the summer! The summer sun + dry, uneven skin seem to go hand-in-hand, but they don’t have to! We promised to give you your healthiest summer ever + that includes giving you radiant skin. Here are THREE sweet, sweet scrubs to invigorate your morning routine — or to make you smell a little fresher after that #CHAARGBOOTYCAMP sweat sesh. ; )


This strawberry scrub is all about balance. It’s used to even out your skin + it only requires three ingredients: strawberries, almond oil + sugar. Sounds good enough to eat, right?

What makes strawberries such a powerful ingredient are the Vitamin C + antioxidants that are jam-packed into each berry. They help to lighten + brighten ++ are especially great for girls with oily or acne-prone skin as they help to remove excess oils. As an added bonus, strawberries can decrease the appearance of acne scars + give your skin a nice, smooth feeling.

Ingredients: Sugar + Almond Oil + Strawberries

#1] In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of sugar + 1 tablespoon of almond oil.

#2] Cut two strawberries into small pieces + add strawberries to sugar//oil mix.

#3] Mash the strawberries into the sugar//oil mix + voila: a super sweet scrub for a super sweet girl.



Summer + peaches are one of our all-time favorite combinations + this scrub is just one more reason why. This scrub has only four ingredients + is perfect if you’re looking for a clearer complexion with fewer blackheads. We really like it because it has those great exfoliating properties without the harsh rub some store-bought exfoliants come with.

Like strawberries, peaches also contain Vitamin C, but they also have Vitamin A. Combined these vitamins will give you bright, beautiful skin, leaving you looking refreshed + ready to tackle the day.

Ingredients: Peach + Almond Oil + Honey + Brown Sugar

#1] Cut + smash one peach. [If you’re having difficulty, throw it into your food processor.]

#2] Put the mashed peach into a bowl + combine with ½ tablespoon of oil [We prefer almond oil because it smells so sweet.], ½ tablespoon of warm honey + 1 tablespoon of brown sugar. ++ #boom! You’ve just bottled a bit of southern sweetness.



If you planted a few tomatoes this summer, it’s time to grab a couple off the vine. We love to put tomatoes on just about everything — eggs, chicken, salads — so we figured, why not add our face to that list?

It sounds a bit silly, but tomatoes have *amazing* hydration properties. They also contain Lycopene, which is a super antioxidant with anti-inflammatory capabilities that protect your skin from environmental factors like dirt + sweat that can clog your pores. Clogged pores mean breakouts, so let’s avoid that + throw on this scrub.

Ingredients: Olive Oil + Sea Salt + Tomatoes

#1] Mix 1 tablespoon of olive oil + 2 tablespoons of sea salt.

#2] Cut a medium-sized tomato in half, scooping the meaty middle into your olive oil/salt mixture.

#3] Combine the tomatoes, olive oil + salt + you’re ready to roll
