DIY Pumpkin Spice Latte
We are truly in the midst of PSL season. Perhaps you’re over them by now or your wallet is beginning to feel the pain from your quick 2PM pick-me-up. But, did you know that you can make your very own PSL for much less + from the comfort of your own home? Whip this up to help you study on a Sunday afternoon to save time, energy, + cash! If you’re feeling extra pumpkin, maybe pair with these Pumpkin Chip Muffins : ).
Used to something sweeter? Feel free to add a sweetener to taste! Add maple syrup for an extra boost of fall flavor or stick to sugar if that’s all you have! This recipe is delicious with or without additional sweeteners!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 cups Milk of your choice
- 8 oz Coffee of your choice
DIRECTIONS
#1] On a stovetop set to medium heat, whisk the pumpkin pie space, vanilla + milk of your choice in a small saucepan.
#2] When bubbles begin to foam at the top, reduce to simmer. Do not let the milk boil.
#3] Pour milk into 8 oz of coffee until desired latte ratio. Add whipped cream, + sprinkle with more pumpkin pie spice if you wish!
