Meet the Ambassador
My name is Danielle + I’m SO excited to be the 2019-2020 Ambassador for DePaul CHAARG! I am a senior International Studies major with a passion for women owning + defining their health ++ wellness. I competed as a swimmer from the age of 5 until 18 and underwent a MAJOR identity crisis once I stopped competing + had to define my wellness routine from scratch. From the beginning, CHAARG helped me identify what routines, workouts + habits were right for my body, mind ++ lifestyle (as well as what I loved to do just for the thrill of it). Just as I was able to define what health + wellness meant to me, I want to empower others to live their happiest + healthiest lives! My favorite #sweatsesh is hiking — which I fell in love with in high school. Since then, I’ve hiked Mount Kilimanjaro, the Wicklow Mountains (completely on my own!) + Porcupine Mountains! Hiking has taught me so much about perseverance, allowed me to quite literally overcome any obstacles, + forced me to recognize the incredible things my body ++ mind are capable of.
More than anything, over the next year I am looking forward to getting to know more CHAARG women — both at DePaul + across the country!
