Cinnamon Vanilla Pear Oatmeal

There’s nothing like waking up to a nice + warm bowl of oatmeal for breakfast! Sometimes I go to bed dreaming about the kind of oats I’m going to make in the morn [#OatmealAddict]. This oatmeal is crazy easy, looks beautiful + packs a seriously healthy punch from a surprise appearance by flax + protein powder! This recipe is super easy to double – so, call over a friend for coffee + oatmeal ++ impress her with your healthy cooking skills ; )

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ Pear
  • 1 ¼ cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1/2 cup Rolled Oats
  • ½ scoop Vanilla Protein Powder [we love this protein powder!]
  • 2 tbsp Flax Meal
  • 0.5 tsp Cinnamon

DIRECTIONS

#1] Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Whisk together cinnamon + flax + protein powder, while slowly pouring in the milk.
#2] Add in the oats — mix + pour into an oven safe bowl.
#3] Slice the pear in half + scoop out the seeds with a spoon. Gently set the pear on top of the oats + sprinkle with cinnamon.
#4] Bake the oats for 30-35 minutes — until they are your desired thickness. Pour yourself a cup of coffee, grab a spoon + enjoy!
