Breakfast or Dessert? — Chocolate PB Banana Smoothie Bowl
Summer days have us craving all the smoothie bowls — this one is for our fellow chocolate lovers! We’re convinced that there is no better combo than chocolate + peanut butter. Try out this creamy smoothie bowl for breakfast, a post workout snack, or even dessert!
- 1 cup Unsweetened Vanilla or Dark Chocolate Almond Milk
- 1 Frozen Banana
- ½ Avocado
- 1 tbsp Chia Seeds
- 1 tbsp Flax Seeds
- 1 tbsp Cacao Powder
- 1 tbsp Peanut Butter or PB2 powder
- 1 serving Protein Powder or Collagen Peptides [optional!]
- 1 handful of Spinach [optional!]
1] Combine all ingredients in blender + blend until smooth
2] Pour into a bowl + top with your favorite toppings — I added granola + chocolate chips, but sliced banana, chia seeds, + shredded coconut make delicious toppings as well!
Smoothie bowls are probably the most versatile recipes, so feel free to play around with this recipe + make it your own! Adding spinach adds an extra serving of veggies to your day that you can’t taste + adding a scoop of protein powder would make this an awesome post workout meal!
