Cherry Coconut Tea Cookies

The best part about the holiday season? Cozy errythangs. ++ Something about this time of year just makes me want to bake — all the time. This cookie recipe gets a health upgrade by subbing in coconut oil + flour for the traditional ingredients ++ it gets a kick from the addition tea. Yep, you read that correctly ; ). Tiesta’s Tahitian Vanilla Cran Tea is the perfect addition to these cherry coconut cookies — you’re gonna love them!

1/2 cup Coconut Oil [make sure it isn’t melted!]
1 cup Granulated Sugar
2 large Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/3 cup Almond Milk
3 cups Coconut Flour
2 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Salt
1 Tahitian Vanilla Cran Tiesta Tea Pouch
¼ cup Dried Cherries
¼ cup Coconut Flakes
⅓ cup Dark Chocolate Chips

#1] In a large bowl, beat the sugar + coconut oil until creamy. Add in the eggs, almond milk + vanilla extract ++ combine.

#2] Add the flour, baking powder + salt to the wet ingredients — mixing incrementally will help to prevent lumps from forming in the dough! Mix in the dark chocolate chips, coconut flakes, cherries + Tahitian Vanilla Cran Tea.  Refrigerate the dough for least 30 mins.

#3] Preheat the oven to 375℉ + spoon out the dough, roll into 1 inch balls + place on the cookie sheet. Flatten the dough + pop into the oven.

#4] Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until lightly golden ++ eat up!
