One Word To Describe You:
Determined

Favorite CHAARG Memory:
Our workouts with the marines are always memorable! Seeing girls carrying cheering each other on + watching everyone push each other to be their best is an experience that is so unique to CHAARG // ++ carrying another CHAARG girl on my back was so empowering!
#inCHAARG Instagram Crush:

Philosophy On Wellness:
Be *intuitive*! By listening to what your body wants [food, fitness, rest, time with others, alone time, etc] + honoring those requests/things you can find balance. There is never a need to force yourself do do/eat/spend time on something that doesn’t make you happy + fulfilled.
Favorite Self-Care Practice:
Reading a *fun* book [I’m talking Nicholas Sparks here!] + a face mask with my diffuser going
2019 Intention:
Relentless // With graduation + starting graduate school + living in a new state all coming my way this year I use the word *relentless* to remind me that “you must participate relentlessly in the pursuit of your own happiness” + to work for what makes me happy.
Ideal Morning Routine:
Up by 6, solid sweat sesh, followed by chocolate chip pancakes + coffee with my roommates + if we had a patio definitely sitting outside for breakfast + reading
Book Every CHAARG Girl Should Read:
Wild by Cheryl Strayed
Greatest Lesson On College:
You are responsible for you! Practice advocating for yourself both in + out of the classroom // go after what you want + need
Advice To Your Freshman Self:
Things take time, as long as you put in the effort everything will work out
Being #inCHAARG To Me Means:
Listening to myself + my body ++ encouraging others to do the same + supporting them in that journey
How have you been Changed By CHAARG?
Through my wellness journey inCHAARG, I discovered a side of the health//wellness industry that stems mostly from the intuitive eating movement. The idea of intuitive eating + movement is to honor completely what body wants + by doing so we can provide our bodies with the nutrients/movement it is *truly* asking for + not the *good* foods or *best* exercises that are typically prescribed by the health//wellness communities. Not only has my self confidence improved as a part of CHAARG, but my happiness has as well! I met my lifelong college BFFs + found myself in the process — what more could you ask for? : )
