Baked Honey Balsamic Pears With Goat Cheese

It is no secret that one of the biggest things that makes the holidays special is all of the amazing food that we get to feed others + eat ourselves! Many of us have recipes that have been perfected + passed down within our families… you know, the crowd favorites ; ). While there is nothing wrong with having these traditional eats each year, there is no reason why we should be timid to try new things for our holiday meals. This recipe is a combo of super *trendy* winter flavors + couldn’t be easier to create! Make this sweet + savory recipe to snack on or to bring to those festive parties!

INGREDIENTS

1 Aju Pear [halved]
¼ cup crumbled Goat Cheese
¼ cup crushed Walnuts
1 tsp Balsamic Vinegar
1 tsp Honey

DIRECTIONS

1] Preheat oven to 325°F. Slice pear in half [long way] + scoop out center with spoon [just a little bit to make room for the filling].

2] In a small dish, combine honey + balsamic vinegar.

3] In a small bowl, combine goat cheese + walnuts.

4] Fill pears with goat cheese + walnut mixture [overflow is good ;)] + place stuffed pears on a baking sheet. Bake for about 15 minutes [check occasionally] until pears are soft + skin is slightly brown.
