ACV Lemon Cinnamon Tea
When you’re feeling under the weather or just want to give your system a natural boost, this tea is perfect. It’s also great if you love the tangy taste of kombucha, but don’t want the real thing.. Filled with so many rejuvenating ingredients, this tea is the perfect way to start the day or drink before bedtime — it is caffeine free!
This drink contains apple cider vinegar, honey, cayenne, + lemon juice, which have all been found to help aid digestion. The apple cider vinegar has so many benefits such as supporting healthy gut bacteria — it’s also a wonder ingredient all-around+ has so many other uses — check out four different recipes for ways to use ACV in this blog post. Honey is great for a sore throat to soothe coughs + also is a pre-biotic. Cayenne pepper can help to speed up your metabolism + adds a nice kick to the tea. Lemon juice is filled with Vitamin C which can help prevent you from getting sick! Lastly, the cinnamon is packed with antioxidants + has anti-inflammatory effects.
- 2 cups Water
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 3 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- ½ tsp Cinnamon
- A sprinkle of Cayenne Pepper… optional — but highly recommended! ; )
#1] In a small pot, heat water on medium to low heat. Do not let the water come to a boil, a gentle simmer is fine!
#2] Stir in honey, cayenne pepper, lemon juice, ACV, + cinnamon into the water in the pot ++ whisk together.
#3] Pour into your favorite cute mug + enjoy!
