3 Reasons Why We Love High Intensity Interval Training [HIIT]

 It can be difficult to find the right workout or the one that gives you the best results. It’s easy to try every new workout we see online or in magazines — but how do we find the right workout that sticks? I love exploring different workouts + trying any new class but the one workout that I keep going back to is HIIT, commonly known as High Intensity Interval Training. I’ve become obsessed with the challenge of pushing myself to my limit for a specific period of time and then letting my body recover just long enough to push myself again. Here are the top three reasons HIIT is becoming a new favorite workout for so many girls!

#1] NO EQUIPMENT NECESSARY

This is such a great part of this workout because it leaves you with zero excuse. Don’t have access to a gym? No problem. Don’t have all the latest equipment? No problem! These workouts can be down with your own body weight in your living room, a studio or the nearby park. The best part is that the workout can be different every time. is fun + exciting because it never has to be the same.

#2] FAT BLASTING WORKOUT

HIIT has been proven to be more the most effective fat burning workout because of EPOC, excess post oxygen consumption. What this means is that your body will continue to burn calories up to 24 hours by increasing your resting metabolism after your workout!

#3] EFFICIENCY

When can you leave the gym dripping in sweat after just 15 minutes? You definitely can after any HIIT workout! This workout can be done during a lunch break, in between a class or even on a night when you’re slammed with homework! It won’t keep you from your busy schedule + you’ll be feeling even more energized to tackle those long days.

This app is a must have for me because although I like forming my own workouts, it is important to throw variety into your workouts with these unique exercises!
