Charity Miles is an app that donates money to a charity of your choice based on the amount you run, walk, or bike. They are partnered with over 30 charities, including the ASPCA, Operation Smile, + the Wounded Warrior Project. They donate 10 cents for every mile you bike, + 25 cents for every mile you run//walk. You just let the app track your distance + it automatically donates! You don’t only have to use the app while working out either — turn it on as you walk to class or work. The money adds up fast : )
One of the most entertaining fitness apps, StickK, motivates you to workout by taking money from your bank account + sending it to a charity you’d hate to support if you don’t reach your goal each week. All you have to do is set your goals on the app + put in your credit card information. If you don’t reach the goals you set, the app will automatically send money to the charity! This app is great for motivation + the community!
3] PLUS 3 NETWORK
With Plus 3 Network, you earn points for working out. The amount of points you earn gets converted to dollars + donated to charity. It’s similar to the Charity Miles app, but offers different charities. Check it out to see which charity you want to support as you walk//run//bike your way through life!
4] RUN 4 GOOD
Run 4 Good tracks your activity level + fights childhood obesity all in one! Every month, the app gives you a certain number of miles you have to run. If you reach the goal by the end of the month, they will donate money to help kids stay active + healthy across the nation.
There’s no easier way to help those out in need than by downloading these apps. Working out makes us feel *ah-mazing,* but not as good as working out while raising money for charity at the same time ; )
