We are all a work of progress, but while we’re focused on improving ourselves, we need to make sure we are still showing ourselves love. Just because you are trying to improve a part of yourself does not mean you should hate that part of you. Don’t burn yourself out — take a break! Show your body + mind some love by not overexerting yourself + allowing yourself to relax. Set some *me-time* aside each week + practice self-love. You deserve to treat yourself to some time to unwind + focus on yourself.
2] TREAT YOURSELF
Treat yourself for all the hardwork you have been putting into reaching your goals. You deserve to enjoy yourself once in awhile + reward yourself for all the work you’ve been putting in. Show yourself some love + indulge here + there — you deserve it : )
3] ENJOY THE JOURNEY
The journey of improvement isn’t always easy, but it’s important to enjoy it. Take a look at what you’re doing every day + make sure you love all aspects of it. You deserve to enjoy what you do — it will make reaching your goals easier + more fun. If you fall in love with the journey, you will fall in love with yourself, + that’s the most important thing you can do.
4] COMPLIMENT YOURSELF
Look yourself in the mirror every day + compliment yourself — your body, your hair, your personality, your smile. Don’t hold back. Even though you are in the process of improving, you are still beautiful. Let yourself know that every single day.
While working towards a better *you*, make sure you are still showing yourself the love that you deserve. You are beautiful, whether you are in the process of improving yourself or not.
