Sometimes our goals seem only personal — after all, they’re our deepest hopes + desires. They’re what we work extra hard towards + what we envision our lives being like. Although it may seem individual, there are plenty of reasons why you should share your goals with others —
1] KEEPS YOU ACCOUNTABLE
By sharing your goals with others, they’re then able to hold you accountable. If your friend knows one of your goals, they can help be that extra push you need when your goals aren’t your first priority. Telling your friends your goals allows them to get involved + be there when you need more motivation.
2] GIVES YOU CLARITY
Sometimes, saying your goals aloud will help you realize what you like + don’t like about them. Discussing your goals with others allows you to see what you really need to be working towards. Allow your CHAARG girls to give their opinion + offer advice on how to best reach your goals. Doing so will help you see what you need to do in order to become the happiest + healthiest version of yourself.
3] ALLOWS YOU TO KEEP TRACK OF YOUR PROGRESS
When other people know about your goals, they’re able to see when + how you’re meeting them. Use your CHAARG fam as a guide for progress. Communicate with others on what you’re doing well at + what you’re struggling at. This way, when others see you doing something good they can help you continue to do so.
4] PROVIDES A SOURCE OF INSPIRATION
With the thousands of CHAARG girls out there, you’re bound to find inspiration somewhere. We’re almost certain that there’s even someone out there that has some very similar, if not exactly the same, goals as you. Seek inspiration from not only your CHAARG chapter, but CHAARG girls all over the country. Use them as motivation + inspiration. Learn from them + soon, others will be learning from you : )
By sharing your goals with others, you’ll find new ways to stay on track + work even harder. You’ll get there someday — especially with the help of your CHAARG fam : )
