Ahhh the beauty of Tuesday is that it has its very own holiday — #TacoTuesday of course! Tacos are my favorite meal, but we all know who the real star of the show is… guac! We’re changing things up from traditional guac + bringing you a recipe packed with tropical fruits. The sweet + juicy twist is the perfect way to celebrate the beginning of spring!
For a healthy alternative, serve the guac with apple slices or sweet snack peppers for dipping! Can’t wait to hear what you think : )
2 large Avocados
1 cup Strawberries [diced]
1 cup Mango [diced]
½ Grapefruit [diced]
½ small Red Onion [diced]
1 large Lime
Pinch of salt
*optional — ¼ Cilantro [chopped]
1] Dice the jalapeno [making sure to remove the seeds] + the red onion + set aside in a large bowl.
3] In a separate bowl mash the avocados — I like to leave some chunks to give the guac a thicker texture! Add the fruit mixture to the mashed avo + gently stir to mix. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt + add in cilantro if using it!
