A drenched forehead + sticky clothes is a CHAARG badge of honor. It’s not something we can fake — it’s cold hard proof that we kicked major booty in our workout. While it may be a little gross, we’re all sweaty here + your body will thank you for sweatin’ it out!

When you sweat, your pores open up, cleaning out any dirt or bacteria. However, make sure to remember to wash your face after a sweat sesh to get the full benefits of glowing, clear skin. Remember to use a gentle face wash!

Working up a sweat during exercise is scientifically proven to have the ability to turn our day around. Endorphins are *feel-good* chemicals released from the brain during a workout that make us feel both happy + energetic. It can even fight against things like stress//anxiety.

Sweating has the ability to purge the body of things like alcohol, cholesterol, ++ salt. Detoxifying is an important process that can clear your body of a lot of toxins that cause illnesses. In addition, these toxins have the ability to bind to thyroid hormones, slowing metabolism//causing weight gain.
4] BOOSTED IMMUNE SYSTEM
Sweating is our body’s own personal knight in shining armor against harmful pathogens. It kills viruses//bacteria that cannot survive in temperatures above normal body level. Our sweat is protecting + #CHAARGing us up for even more killer workouts ; )

Sweating is our body’s form of an internal air-conditioning unit through homeostasis. This process is how our body maintains its most stable temperature [usually around 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit]. Essentially, It’s what we have to thank for keeping us from overheating during all of our most intense workouts. So keep calm — our bodies know exactly how to keep us safe while we’re going hardcore with our sweat sesh!
