It’s #WorkoutWeds — let’s HIIT it! We are huge fan of HIIT workouts [high intensity interval training] + you will see a lot of these workouts this FitPlan. Essentially, it involves a very INTENSE period followed by an active resting period. This HIIT workout can be done on the treadmill, but we encourage you to take it outside ++ soak in the sunshine.
Use the Nike+ App [or a sport watch!] to measure your distance while you run. It’s important to really PUSH yourself during the sprints. There should be a huge difference between the *sprint* + *jog*. You’ll complete the below routine 2X — for the last round, #crush a 0.2 mile SPRINT to finish out that 5K!
