First things first: make sure you have a properly sized jump rope. Too long or too short + you’re going to end up tripping or whipping yourself. To do this, stand in the middle of the rope with one foot. Pull the handles so the rope is taught. If the rope is properly sized, the top of the handles will reach your armpit.
Too long? You can shorten it temporarily by tying a knot or two below the handles. Too short? You’re going to need to borrow a rope from a fellow CHAARG girl.
You are going to be tired during this workout. Bring a bud – or two or three – + workout together. They’ll keep you moving + motivated.
