FitGoal: Run a full marathon, become a yogi, + add more lifting into my routine. I also want to get certified to teach fitness classes! I want to sweat + share my love//passions with even more people!
// THE MOMENT //
The moment you knew you wanted to start a CHAARG chapter at your university… Ever since I joined CHAARG, I knew this was something Capital needed. After being in virtCHAARG for a while I realized that this was more than just an organization or a facebook group. CHAARG is a lifestyle + impacts your more than think. It became a part of of every aspect of my life. My motivation to workout, eat, inspire, and even live was changed for the better.
The *moment* was when I realized that CHAARG wasn’t just changing my life, it was changing my best friend’s life too. She was more MOTIVATED, ENCOURAGED, INSPIRED, + was radiating POSITIVE VIBES even in some of her hardest times. From there I knew that other ladies on campus could be affected like this too + that I HAD to #bringchaargtocap.
My passion for health + fitness was ignited when… My dad has MS (multiple sclerosis) and there were occasions while growing up that he had to use a cane or was told he may never walk again. After one of these severe episodes he decided that he needed to make a change – he needed to change his life. He began cutting out bad eating habits and started running. A few years later (I was a junior in high school) he had lost over 150 pounds AND ran his first half marathon. It was as he crossed the finish line that my passion for health + fitness was ignited. I saw my dad – someone who on some days can’t feel his legs/feet not letting his sickness hinder him but rather push himself further everyday. I realized that I have a healthy body + should be treating it better. My dad inspired + ignited this fire in me to live, embrace, grow, + love my body. Since then we have done half marathons (soon to be a full marathon) together + find ways to encourage each other in our fitness journeys.
// EAT //
Favorite Meal… basically anything with EGGS. As Elisabeth would say I’ve got an #eggtooth. My favorite egg dish though is simply avocado toast with an over-medium egg on top.
Favorite Indulgence… Ice cream, ice cream, ++ MORE ICE CREAM! Any type, any kind, any size — I love them all.
// SWEAT //
If you could work out with anyone dead or alive, what workout would you do + who would you work out with? Most days I like to *think* I am a good dancer and even though I’m not, I would want to do some form of dance workout with Julianne Hough. She’s a huge role model + inspiration to me! Plus who wouldn’t wanna learn some cool new moves **dancing emoji**
A song that gets me pumped to take on a #sweatsesh is… Hands To Myself by Selena Gomez for sure!
// INSPIRE //
My passion is… serving + loving others! I love everything about people + think their stories are important. Listening + getting to know others is so rewarding + inspiring.
I am #inCHAARG because… I’m not perfect ++ LOVE it. I’ve learned to love + appreciate who I am ++ everyday I strive to be the BEST version of myself.

Fun Fact… I never lived June 6th, 2014 → aka I’ve been to Australia!
