// THE MOMENT //
A friend from one of my classes was wearing a CHAARG headband so I asked about what it was! I was excited to hear about a group of girls who enjoyed working out since none of my close friends would ever go to the gym with me ++ I always went to workout classes alone! I joined that night! It was scary at first. This whole organization of such STRONG women [physically + mentally!], they all knew their worth ++ just radiated positivity + self love. I was hooked from the start! I wanted to be just like them.
Once I became involved + saw myself changing [physically, mentally ++ emotionally], I wanted to take a step up to exec. I wanted to help other girls feel this way + help them make this positive change in their lives! I started as the Treasurer because I wanted to help plan events that would help girls find their best friends [because all of my besties are #inCHAARG!]. Then I wanted to take the next step and lead the movement! I knew I had the CHAARG passion to be ambassador because I would talk about CHAARG in every conversation I had! I wanted to help girls find their fit, help girls find their swole mates ++ help build strong + amazing leaders!
CHAARG means so much to me because it has truly made me the strong + independent woman that I am today. I am not afraid of trying new things, stepping out of my comfort zone, saying *hi* to someone I don’t know! I actually get excited to take these new steps that some may find scary because I know how greatly they change ++ impact my life! By saying hi to girls at events, I have made lifelong friendships. Friends who not only push me to be my best in the gym, but who cheer me up after a long day, motivate me when I don’t think I can study anymore, and celebrate my successes with me. These are not college friends, these are the ladies who will be my bridesmaids and the ones who will be standing by me years from now. I am thankful CHAARG has given me the power to be strong, and also has given me people who can support me when I am not.

If you could work out with anyone dead or alive, what workout would you do + who would you work out with?
My sister. She’s one of my favorite workout partners because she pushes me ++ never lets me quit. She has a burning passion for fitness as well. I ran 5 miles for the Turkey Trot without training because she was by my side cheering me on. We love to really do any workout together. She did the #CHAARGFitPlan with me over the summer, we love hot yoga, ++ she loves running. I’d run with her anytime although it’s not my favorite!
A song that gets me pumped to take on a #sweatsesh is… “Survivor” by Destiny’s Child

My passion is… helping people. This is why I want to be a nurse, why I’m in service fraternity, + why I love CHAARG. If I can give back to someone else, put a smile on their face, make their day, then I am happy.
I am #inCHAARG because… I like to workout + I love my bolt babes! The workouts hooked me, but the community keeps me coming back for more!
