// THE MOMENT //
The moment I knew I wanted to start a CHAARG Chapter at my university… I had been following the CHAARG blog for about a year when I came across a post that talked about running. I was taking a long break to nurse my knee injury but it still spoke to my runner soul. The post said “I felt limitless. There was more of me to be discovered.” + that really called to me. I knew that this was a community that would understand, love, + support me through my journey ++ I wanted WVU women to have that, too.
My passion for health + fitness was ignited when…. My passion for health + fitness began with running many years ago, but was reignited while discovering ways to keep myself happy + healthy while taking a break from running. We only get one body + it is ours to love + care for until the end of our days — my passion for fitness really stems from that fact. I love to run + sweat, not just because of the endorphins//results, but because I know it helps to keep me healthy + positive.
// EAT //
Favorite Meal…. I tried to answer this but honestly cannot come up with *one* favorite thing. I love salads + quinoa + pizza + turkey burgers + really just all food.
Favorite Indulgence… Dark chocolate covered anything!
// SWEAT //
If you could work out with anyone dead or alive, what workout would you do + who would you work out with? I would run a half marathon [followed by post-run smoothies of course] with Amy Poehler. She is my spirit animal.
A song that gets me pumped to take on a #sweatsesh is… I recently started listening to dubstep remixes when I workout + it is AWESOME.

My passion is… Helping others to live their happiest + healthiest lives. I hope to live out this passion as a physical therapist in the future!
I am #inCHAARG because… I am strong, brave, confident, + loving. I am working on remembering these things ++ live them every day.
