Shine texts are the perfect morning motivation to kick off your day! Shine texts are sent to your phone Monday through Friday around 8AM + are meant to help fight negative thoughts. When you sign up, you are asked your mental health goals [like working on confidence // stepping out of your comfort zone]. The texts are specifically selected to help you achieve your goals + work towards a more positive life.
MOTIVATION WITH SHINE TEXTS
So how exactly do Shine texts provide motivation? Shine texts use your goals to create text messages that help to motivate you in four different aspects — confidence, daily happiness, mental health, + productivity. Each morning you receive a new message that aims to help motivate // inspire you to continue working towards your goal. Most often the texts include a task you can do to actively work towards the goal. They also will include a link to an article that elaborates more on the topic of the day. While the texts will vary from day to day, there are three main parts —
1] MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES
Shine texts send a link with each message that includes a motivational quote for the day! The quotes not only provide motivation for the day, but also serve as a reminder of the message + action recommended that morning. Each quote is short enough to remember or write down wherever you’ll see it most that day.
2] POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS
Ever heard that each morning you should look in the mirror + say one positive affirmation to yourself? Shine texts make that step of your morning a bit easier by providing an affirmation every day that goes along with your goals. Whether you’re aiming for improved self-confidence or more self-love, the affirmations are meant to help fight the negative feelings or thoughts you may have towards yourself. The affirmations range from broader to help overcome more than one emotion to a specific affirmation personalized for you + your goal.
3] DAILY ACTIONS
We strive to work towards our goals every day, but sometimes we may find ourselves stuck + unsure what to do next. Shine texts provide an action each day through the use of an article to help you keep moving forward toward your end goal. Some of the actions are mental, such as cheering yourself on for a day instead of waiting for external praise, while others require you to step out of your comfort zone! These actions, such as spending a day giving gratitude to those in your life, not only help with your mental health + happiness but also with fostering connections // relationships with others.
