Join CHAARG + you’re instantly part of an empowering CHAARG Chapter at your university. You will have access to incredible workout classes + more importantly -- you will be immersed in a positive + encouraging community, filled with women just as passionate about health + fitness as you! Below, in more detail, is what it means to be a CHAARG Chapter Member.
FIND YOUR FIT. CHAARG liberates girls from the elliptical + shows them that fitness can [+ SHOULD] be fun! Since every girl has a different preference of what fun is, we create opportunities for our CHAARG girls to "find their fit." Every week, we partner with a local fitness studio to lead a workout. We've done boxing, barre classes, salsa dancing -- and everything in between. Depending on the equipment needed, the fitness instructors either come to us or we travel to their studio. *If we must travel to their studio, transportation will be provided.
HEALTH + WELLNESS. We focus a lot on fitness, but living a healthy lifestyle is so much more than just exercising -- it is an everyday obligation to change the body + mind in a positive way. We want our members to not only become excited about fitness, but also to enjoy eating whole, nutritious foods + truly feel confident in one's skin! ++ most importantly, to embrace a healthy + happy lifestyle. We love to put on events related to overall wellness -- cooking classes, nutrition workshops, motivational speeches + learning about self defense!
ACCOUNTABILITY. As soon as you sign up to be a CHAARG girl, you will be added to a private Facebook group, filled with other CHAARG girls from your university. Girls constantly post when they are working out, if they need a workout buddy, as well as share healthy recipes. We also encourage girls to share their fit goal ++ you better believe we will be holding you accountable ; ) We are here to help you reach your goals -- whatever they may be!
SUNDAY MOTIVATION. You will receive a weekly newsletter filled with resources including: workouts, challenges, articles, or recipes to keep you #inCHAARG for the upcoming week + give you a dose of motivation for the week ahead!
SMALL GROUPS. We understand the importance of getting to know your CHAARG girls at your university on a deeper level. We divide the CHAARG Chapter into “small groups.” This is a group of 15-20 girls that you will be with the entire semester + meet on a weekly basis for a health + fitness activity. You will be with girls from different majors, backgrounds, + fitness levels who all are united by one thing -- the goal to live a healthier + happier lifestyle.
NATIONAL EVENTS. Joining CHAARG not only connects you to peers at your university, but you are a part of a national community -- filled with 5,000+ girls! We put on events at least once a semester where you have the opportunity to get to know CHAARG girls from different CHAARG Chapters. From CHAARGies, a positive gift exchange -- the National Retreat in Northern Michigan, a weekend of fitness + fun + food -- and our FitPlans, interactive exercise programs with daily sweat seshes, you will truly feel the positive vibes, encouragement + energy that is the CHAARG community.
COMMUNITY. When you workout, you feel good. When you surround yourself with people to support you, you feel even better. CHAARG combines good friends + a good workout to keep you feeling your best. Not only will you be able to come to our workouts every week to get in a good sweat sesh, you’ll be making good friends + workout buddies at the same time. When you are surrounded by other supportive, positive, + healthy women; it will help motivate you to live a full, fit, + healthy lifestyle.
