Did summer just officially end oooooor? With the temps dropping fast, we decided to throw you guys a TREAD workout. We are not fans of running at the same pace on the treadmill for miles + miles. Instead, we like to do HIIT workouts [high intensity interval training].
You might feel like you’re riding the waves up + down during this workout… ; ). The goal is to continue to INCREASE your pace throughout this run. So — set a goal that you want to end at [in the below example: it would be 9.5]. ++ then figure out your paces accordingly. For your first sprint: run 1.5 MPH below your *goal* [example below = 8.0 MPH]… every one minute sprint — increase 0.5 MPH. You will do the same for the two minute jog! GOOD LUCK.
