As 2016 comes to a close, there are plenty of things you can do to say goodbye to this year. Try starting 2017 fresh by doing these 5 things —
1] CLEAN YOUR SPACES
From your desk at work to your closet at home, clean out any junk that isn’t helping you stay organized + focused. Throughout the year things add up + sometimes we may not even realize the clutter we’ve collected. Use this rule: If you haven’t used it in the past six months, toss it. Better yet – donate it to your local Salvation Army or Goodwill : )
2] GET IN A GOOD WORKOUT
Break a sweat + set the pace for the new year! If you love to plan, take time after to organize your workouts for the coming year. Start thinking about how many miles you want to accomplish with #RunCHAARG, which Fit Plans you’ll do, ++ what new sweat seshes you want to try. You’ll be setting yourself up for success if you’re organized + #inCHAARG.
3] WRITE DOWN YOUR GOALS
Not only should you make new goals, but you should write them down as well. Put them somewhere you can see them every day, that way you’re reminded of what you should be working towards. Share them with your CHAARG girls + soon you’ll have an entire support system helping you reach them : )
4] REVIEW YOUR YEAR
Make a list of all of the amazing + not-so-amazing things that happened this year. Then make note of what you can do to keep the good things + lose the bad things in 2017. Appreciate the little things + focus on the gift that life truly is. Think about all of the wonderful things you were able to experience this past year + focus on all that next year has in store for you.
5] THANK YOUR FRIENDS + FAMILY
We all have people that have helped make this year amazing. Through the ups + downs, certain friends have always had our back. Before the new year, try thanking those that made a difference in your life. Whether that means they were there when you needed advice or simply a shoulder to cry on, let them know what they mean to you.
Regardless of how your 2016 went, by making goals + starting the year fresh, 2017 is bound to beat it. Cheers to the new year!
