Now that we know how great cross training is, it’s time to take a lil’ break from running + hit the gym with this core circuit — featuring the one + only: BOSU Ball! If you guys have never used a BOSU Ball before, this will be your new fav equipment at the gym.
I love the BOSU because you can use both sides of it [as you’ll see in the exercises!] — the *bouncy*//soft side + flat//hard side. It’s perfect for improving strength + balance — every exercise you do on the BOSU forces your core to stay stabilized, making *easy* exercises extremely challenging. You’d be surprised how challenging it is to even sand on it… [but seriously].
Today, we are sharing a CORE workout — however, there are TONS of exercises you can do with the BOSU [check out this list!], so feel free to get creative with it. ++ YES, there will be a BOSU giveaway for THREE girls [deets at the end!] : )
10 PUSH UPS
*right + left kick = one rep!
*10 each arm! modification = knee push ups!
*15 each leg!
*right + left leg = one rep!
15 OBLIQUE CRUNCHES
*15 each side! modification — one hand on the ground!
1 MINUTE PLANK
*last round — see how long you can hold a plank!
