You might already follow Jordan + not even realize it, as her handle @thebalancedblonde is one of the most popular fitspo sources on the ‘gram. Although Jordan seemed to be living the healthiest plant-based diet possible, it actually became obsessive + she was diagnosed with orthorexia, the eating disorder fixated on healthy eating. Taking place in 2008, Isabelle tells her side of Wall Street + the financial sector — the Upper West Side home + *perfect* family, but also the struggle of being a breadwinner in a patriarchal industry that is facing impending doom. THE NIGHTINGALE — KRISTIN HANNAH
Remember how awesome the Dear America novels were growing up? Historical fiction is still so fun to read, + this novel about World War Two in France will share the women’s side of the war. Of course there’s love, deceit + revenge, but there is also inspiration to maintain integrity + personal strength through all life struggles. Find your copy here!
