Apparently it’s National Oatmeal Day today, so I felt obligated to come up with a fun fall-esque recipe for you guys : ) You know I’m a huge fan of smoothies, so I figured — hey, let’s try an oatmeal smoothie! This smoothie is super mild + tastes like fall in a mason jar [ah, I love cinnamon!]. Also, since it has cooked oatmeal in it — it is pretty hearty! You can make this at night, put it in the fridge, + then grab your smoothie to go for bkfst. YUM.
– 1/2 cup Vanilla Almond Milk
– 1/4 cup Vanilla Greek Yogurt
– 1/2 Apple
– Packet of Instant Apple + Cinnamon Oatmeal [I got mine from TJs!]
– Cinnamon, To Taste [the more — the better!]
1] Cook oatmeal — I cooked mine with water [some of you may prefer milk!]
2] Blend + enjoy! Sprinkle cinnamon + some raw oats on top : )
