You may begin to find that as we near the halfway point of #CHAARGBootyCamp, that any initial excitement has worn off + it’s becoming more challenging to complete workouts. Here are a few ways that can help you beat the *BootyCamp Burnout* —
1] START SMALL
Make small changes to your lifestyle as BootyCamp continues. If this is your first FitPlan, begin with scheduling your workout routine to fit your schedule + fit into your life! Once you can give it your all for the FitPlan workouts, work on adding in the meal plan // recipes or the mindfulness practices! Remember, small changes lead to big results.
2] FIND A BOLT BABE
Find a friend to help keep you motivated for the remainder of the FitPlan if you haven’t already! Chances are, you’re more likely to go workout if you know you have a friend waiting for you. After your sweat sesh, #treatyourself to a post-workout smoothie bowls together, whether at your fav cafe or at home! : )
3] MODIFY THE WORKOUTS
Modify, modify, modify! Always be sure to make the workout fit you, whether you increase or decrease weight, intervals, or rest time. The easiest way to know whether to tone up or tone down a workout is the amount of soreness you feel afterwards, or if you feel any pain during your workouts. Remember, you should never feel sharp pain while exercising — only slight discomfort!
4] LISTEN TO YOUR BODY
If your body needs a rest day, take it! Still sore from arm day? Head to a local track for a sprint workout. Feeling yoga instead? Get your flow on, girl! The FitPlan is not a strict set of guidelines + what’s important is that you are happy + healthy! : )
5] REFLECT ON YOUR FIT GOALS
Sometimes it helps us to go back to why we started this FitPlan + maybe even revisit some intentions. Take some time to reflect on the goals you set before the FitPlan started + modify them if needed. If you didn’t write down goals, now is a great time to! Grab some paper // pencils + get writing! Be sure to display your list of Fit Goals somewhere you can see them everyday so you never forget what you’re working toward.
