Ah — I love this community so freaking much. #thatisall // GUYS, WE DID IT. We pushed ourselves + encouraged each other along the way for SIX WEEKS. There’s no stopping us now. This is the beginning of bigger + better things. This is the beginning of anything we want. Like Jessica said: This journey is not over — after this FitPlan, we have the rest of ours lives to continue this journey that has turned into a lifestyle.

Over these past six weeks I’ve learned a few things — my body is capable of change in so many ways! I learned that I can become a morning person + get up to workout at 7 AM with @meryn_inCHAARG. I learned that my body loves the feeling of lifting + that burn//soreness the next day! I learned that even though six weeks is a short span of time, that my arms + legs can look leaner. I learned that I need to open my heart to change in my life. With friends graduating this month + myself graduating in a few short months, I’ve realized that so many things will be changing. Change is inevitable in life + I’ve learned not to be scared of it. I need to open up + embrace the new + exciting things coming my way! The CHAARG community + the CHAARG FitPlan has taught me to love the new + to embrace the change!

There are so many things that I have learned through this CHAARG FitPlan, but one of the most important things that I’ve learned is to be true to myself. With the ups + downs throughout this entire journey I have found that the best way to get through the bad times is by staying true to myself + remembering the goal. I would get mad at myself for having one meal screw up, but then realize that it’s okay to be human + it’s okay to make a mistake. I just needed to stop putting myself down, + start bringing myself back up to stay true to me + stay true to the goal that I am trying to achieve. This journey is still not over — after this FitPlan, I have the rest of my life to continue this journey that has turned into my lifestyle.

In the beginning, my goal for the CHAARG FitPlan was to conquer fear. As we’re approaching the end of Week 6, I’ve realized in the past six weeks, I’ve conquered much more than fear. Throughout the FitPlan, I challenged myself to try all sorts of new workouts with the rest of the CHAARG community — running backwards, lifting weights, + pushing my body harder than I ever thought I could. However, what really stands out the most to me is how much my mind has changed, not just my body. With the assistance of yoga, meditation, + mindfulness throughout the day, I’ve discovered something life-changing: I am a unique human being + no one can replace me. Living more life in the moment allowed me to grant myself the kindness I only allowed to give other people, + appreciate myself for who I am. I am beautiful, inside + out, + no one can take that away from me. I challenge everyone to take a few minutes everyday to practice mindfulness + simply love the life you’re in. The world is beautiful, + so are you.
